Aarón was born in El Paso, Texas and educated in the best of all schools…his mother Zarela’s kitchen. By the age of 16 he was cooking at master-class level and he would ultimately cook his way to Centrico, where hs is Chef/Owner and Iron Chef America, Chopped, and Chefs Vs. City with best friend and fellow cabinet member Chris Cosentino. His signature collection reflects his personal culture: a mixture of Mexican and Buddhist iconography.
